About our office:

Terri R. Epstein, OTR/L

Terri is the founder and owner of OT Works for kids, opening in 1999.  She has over 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist, specializing in pediatrics for 20 years. She has 4 years of experience in neonatal intensive care.  Terri became a Clinical Specialist in Pediatrics during her 7 years at Norwalk Hospital.  She is certified in the Administration and Interpretation of The Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests and is trained in the Listening Program and Handwriting Without Tears TM.  She is a member of the Cambridge Directory of Professional Who's Who.  Terri has received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from the University of Hartford and a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac College.  She has also received the Honorary Title of Clinical Associate from Boston University for her training as a Fieldwork Coordinator for many occupational therapy college interns.  Terri has experience in the school setting using the educational model as well.  She has been a Vision Therapist for over 20 years treating children with visual and perceptual difficulties.  Terri lectures on sensory processing in children throughout the community, most recently at the Eastern States Conference for Optometrists.
