Welcome to OT Works for kids!
OT Works for kids is an occupational therapy practice dedicated to helping children of all ages since 1999. We evaluate and provide treatment for children with difficulties in school with attention and focusing, developmental delays including gross and fine motor coordination, sensory processing, balance, strength and visual motor integration and children with neurological, physical or emotional difficulties or diagnoses.
We have been featured in Fairfield County's Finest and awarded Best of Norwalk Occupational Therapy in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023!
What is Occupational Therapy?
OT uses purposeful activities to facilitate child development and improve the coordination between the brain and the body. OT helps children to develop skills needed for everyday living. Children learn and develop best through play. Many of our activities are presented as play in our sensory rich environment.
OT may help your child improve his/her: Handwriting, Pencil Grip, School Performance, Gross and Fine Motor Skills, Balance and Coordination, Muscle Tone and Strengthening, Organizational Skills, Sensory Processing, Developmental Milestones, Attention and more.
